THE LINEN SHOP regularly exhibits at the following shows:- The Country Living Fair, Islington - Art in Action - The Contemporary Textile Fair, Teddington - Designer Crafts @ Chelsea in conjunction with The Society of Designer Craftsmen.
In 1996 Fran joined the 2 by 4 Artists and since then has been developing her artistic practice working mainly in watercolour and acrylic. In April this year she shared a selling exhibition - FRANSTASTIC - with Francesca Clarke. This was held in the 2 by 4 community room.
For the last 3 years she has had works in acrylic accepted by Chichester Open Art Exhibition. Fran joined other 2 by 4 Artists in their first involvement with The Big Draw in autumn 2004. This National Campaign for Drawing was spearheaded by Quentin Blake, Ralph Steadman and other popular artists and illustrators with the intention of encouraging more people of all ages to draw. 2 by 4 Artists have continued this collaboration annually with a variety of workshops held in schools, the community and drop in sessions in the Drill Hall, Park Barn and the Library. |
