Endel White
His work in Horsham takes 3 forms, either working directly on site whether it be in the countryside, or around the town of Horsham, or from photographs, (using his own uniquely developed technique) again drawing his inspiration from Horsham and it's environs whether urban or pastoral.
An underlying interest in abstraction, recalled from his work in London, fused with his current working practice has lead to to complex mixed media grid paintings in which 3 dimensions are expressed using 2 dimensional format.

Slade trained artist Endel White B.A. Hons Fine Art 2:1 1980, returned to Horsham to live and work in 1997, having worked in studios in London after leaving college.
Since then he has exhibited in Cornwall, Horsham and
London.

Endel also runs workshops on methods and materials, the aim being to help artists of all levels begin their creations creatively for example preparing ones canvas of choice, preparing boards and paper, and making primer.

Endel also runs paint making workshops working on the same principles of understanding the media and making various types of paint to increase the artists range of options.

Endel will be showing some work at the 2 x 4 Studios
during the RAG open studio weekends
in 5th 6th and 12th 13th July.
